Complex Candi Ijo
Candi Ijo is Hindu-style temple complex.Place about 4 kilometers from Ratu Boko temple complex or approximately 6 kilometres east of the city of Yogyakarta. This temple was built approx time Medang Kingdom of Mataram period or around the 10th century AD. The overall Complex in Candi Ijo is the patio-terraces. With the western part is the lowest side and the East side is the
highest. Candi Ijo complex has a central temple that sits on the high terrace, that there are 1 main temple and 3 smaller temples.  In the West, there are the ruins of a temple that excavations are still in progress and not yet restored. At a guess, the building of this temple was used for worship of the God Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma, Trimurti. And subjected to a small temple, a small temple in the Middle, inside there is a statue of a bull which is the vehicle of Shiva.

Location
Candi Ijo is located in Groyokan village, of Dukuh Sambirejo, Kecamatan Prambanan, Sleman, Yogyakarta. This temple is the western slope of a hill that is still a part of Batur hill (Perbukitan batur), roughly about 4 kilometres southeast Ratu Boko Temple. His position is at the hill side at a height of approximately 390 metres above sea level. This temple is called "Ijo" because it is located on a hill called Gumuk Ijo.
